Is Anti Aging Possible?
One of the worries that people have is the fear of getting old. There is something about aging that makes one think that any measure of reversing it or even just delaying it from happening is all worth the price, but is anti aging possible? To answer this question with fidelity, it is essential to lay down some of the instances which show that an individual is indeed aging. People live in a physical world, and with it comes the inescapable fact that how one looks affects greatly how he or she interacts in society. A person who is adding up years to his or her tank so to speak, undergoes skin changes. The appearance of lines and wrinkles in one’s face begins from 30 to 35 years of age, but still, some younger people who are just in their 20’s also exhibit wrinkling in varied levels. There are several approaches to combat this, some of which are stated below.
First, avoid stress in your life. The mind is a powerful thing: if you want to look younger and stay youthful, always fill your thoughts with positive ideas. Work stress can really be a factor in making somebody look older than his or her real age. Take time to relax and enjoy the fruits of your labor. Life is not all about performance or competition. When your mind begins to ask “Is anti aging possible?” a resounding YES should be your staple answer. Second, enroll in a holistic exercise regimen. Remember that you are after maintenance and overall health, so leave the heavy lifting and rigorous programs to the yuppies. Third, moisturize often. This is a very simple habit but few bother to exercise it. Our skin is made up of molecules of water – it needs constant moisturizing to avoid getting dry and coarse. Fourth, nothing beats plain, old water. Hydrate yourself throughout the day. Bring a clean personal bottle wherever you go so water is available for you at all times. Lastly, eat a well balanced diet. Gone are the days when pigging out is just fine. Choose only organic food and stay away from processed food as much as you can.
With all these, if you want to look and feel younger, do not be afraid to check on the latest trends and update yourself with the current practice in combating the age process. You are the master of your own body. Anything and everything that happens and goes on in and out of your body is your concern and is of utmost importance. The results may not be as quick as you would hope for but always keep in mind that even Rome was not built in a day. Keep track of your progress and take note of the subtle changes that you would experience along the way. If you follow your gut feel and listen to your senses – how it reacts to different approaches to diet, exercise and treatment – the answer to “Is anti aging possible?” is never a puzzle too hard to solve. Live fully and believe it is achievable.

Hi, I’m searching for assistance with my dilemma. I have discovered a number of fine wrinkles around my eyes and mouth and cannot find anything to hide them. I don’t want to have an operation yet although I would think about Botox if nothing else helped.

Hi, thanks for your comment. First you try with chemical peel (it stimulate collagen and improve skin texture) before applying high quality anti wrinkle creams. Together with that, I recommend you should put eye or face mask twice a week, drink lots of water, have some vitamin C/supplements and sleep well. When you apply any creams, apply lightly at the opposite direction you always stroke, and use cotton wool or brush to have less pressure on the skin instead of using your fingers.
